Eventail plié monté à l'anglaise. Exceptionnelle monture en ivoire sculpté et repercé.
La feuille peinte sur peau d'une scène de liesse au village : la noce bat son plein, on chante, on danse, on boit... y compris les musiciens passant aisément du violon à la bouteille !
Le jeune marié, couronné, lit son compliment (quelques mots évoquant des noms de personnes : "Van ...") à la jeune mariée toute émue.

A Flemish wedding
Folding fan monté à l'anglaise. Fantastic ivory sticks, sculptured and pierced. It represents jubilation in a village: there is a wedding, people sing, dance, and drink… even the musicians playing and drinking !
The young married man, crowned, reads his compliment (some words evoking names of persons: "Van") to his wife, very touched.
Condition: very fresh. Dimension (height of the sheet: 29,7 cm)
