Bel éventail plié, la feuille en peau
peinte à la gouache d'une scène de liesse dans le parc d'un château.
De nombreux couples s'affairent , les bouquets fleurissent...
Revers peint à la gouache sur papier d'une invitation galante.
Très fine monture en écaille , repercée,sculptée et appliquée de feuille
d'or. Au centre un cartel présentant
un couple se faisant face, au centre un grand bouquet de fleurs.
État : Très bon (voir bordure d'origine "à la fleur"). Anciennes traces de
restauration à la feuille.

fan. The sheet is painted with gouache. It represents jubilation in a
castle park. A lot of couples are fussing and bouquets are prospering…
The reverse is
painted with a
gallant
invitatio.
Very fine
tortoiseshell sticks,
pierced, sculptured,
with gold sheets. In the middle, a face to face couple with a big central
bouquet.
Condition: very good (ref. to the original border « à la fleur »).
Former
restorations
of the leaf.
